The Hypnosis Lesson In The David Sarnoff Story

David Sarnoff has an interesting life story to tell.

He was born and raised in a small, mainly Jewish town in Russia.

His family then moved to New York.

His father promptly dropped dead  when they arrived in New York.

David was 9 years old at the time.

At age 9, David was forced into the position of being the family breadwinner.

In five months he taught himself English.

He also got work as a newsstand boy.

He got paid half-a-cent for every paper sold.

At 14 years of age, David had his own newsstand.

It was in one of the newspapers he sold that young David saw an ad for an office boy at Marconi Wireless.

So he hurried over to the company without appointment and barged into the office of the president unannounced, and asked for the job.

There were 500 or so boys in line to be interviewed, but it was David Sarnoff who was given the job on the spot.

There’s a lesson there:

Waiting your turn is often the worst  way to get what you want.

Back to the story:

After a year as an office boy, David taught himself telegraphy.

Then, when Marconi was swallowed up by Radio Corporation of America, David was on the cutting-edge of the technology it needed, thanks to his self-learning.

Twenty-three years later, age 39,  David Sarnoff was president of the  company.

This David Sarnoff story tells us that the more you take it upon yourself to learn something – the more doors and opportunities open up to you.

That is especially true when learning hypnosis.

There are so many ways and opportunities to use hypnosis in life – BUT… you will only “see” them and be ready to pounce on them if you have first taken it upon yourself to learn everything you can about hypnosis and how it can be used.

The tools and techniques are already out there.

And there’s no telling how far you can go or how much you can accomplish when you master everything there is about hypnosis.

Go for it.
