I am a lot younger than a lot of Igor's followers (from what I can see anyway) and I think he loses most of my generation of potential hypnotists with his marketing style. I would love to see a hypnosis trainer with the same knowledge, clarity and expertise as Igor who also has the same edge or raw energy as the likes of Robert Anton Wilson - someone who is not a hypnosis trainer but to whom I am more likely to direct my friends with whom I would like to introduce to ideas of hypnosis and the mind's power, or play Robert Masters and Jean Houston's Mind Games (of which John Lennon was a huge fan), for instance. I feel it worth spending time to offer such criticism, and I wish I could be more clear about what I mean ( it is difficult to describe, it's like his too NICE or something!!Like almost in a Daniel O'Donnell kind of a way - if you don't know who that is look him up!) as I have absolutely never seen anything anywhere close to the high standard of Igor's hypnosis trainings. So there is nobody else more than Igor that I could imagine becoming the hypnosis trainer that I would ultimately like to learn from. (maybe I'll just have to become it myself!...)”

The subject was The Power of Conversational Hypnotherapy: This meeting was just amazing: A group of around 150 participants were masterfully guided by Igor through 8 days full of compact parts of the program starting from basics to sophisticated pain relief sessions. The richness of the various parts was exceptional. Very amazing to me was, that I experienced such kind of chaos/shift events two more times long after going back to Germany. This training had a great impact on me looking back to that training event now I have to say it was THE BEST TRAINING I experienced over the last 3 decades of my life. The live training was an even more wonderful experience than using the training materials at home. The course was taught fantastically, largely through Igor's charming brand of conversational hypnosis. He is an enormously knowledgeable, warm and humorous trainer. The Ledochowski Protocol fits together brilliantly, meaning that different techniques dovetail extremely well together very well. Each element can be practiced individually. There is a natural progression from the Hypnotic Blitz, Revivification and Mind bending Language to Regression and Re-integration. During the live training, the experience and insight of other facilitators really added to the process. The intensity of the live training meant that six days felt truly like several months. “I first heard about Igor through a friend at university, my friend talked about The Power of Conversational Hypnosis home study course. He was blown away and really excited about what he had been learning. I was already a bit of a fan of hypnosis and NLP but this was something new to me. I was very intrigued to find out more because my friend had changed from a shy and awkward student to this ultra-confident guy who loved telling these great stories that people just loved to listen to. Shortly after my friend transferred to another university and we lost touch as we were both studying different subjects. I was studying extremely hard and I was doing very well but my curiosity got the better of me. Soon I was studying hypnosis more than my university course work and I loved it. I listened to the CDs and I thought Igor was absolutely brilliant. He talked about hypnosis with such a passion and a great deal of knowledge, listening to the CDs was a real treat. Igor has given quite a lot of free content away that has been both inspiring and invaluable to me. Since then I have signed up for the master classes bought some more of Igor’s programs and I have to say that everything that I have ever watched or listened to is pure gold and the price is really great value. There are a lot of really great Master hypnotists doing outstanding work; Igor interviewed some truly great masters for the master class series. I would encourage anyone to go to one of Igor’s live trainings; I attended the CHPH in Amsterdam. This is a six day intensive program that was jam packed with fun exercises; demonstrations and even more detailed explanations in the theory and techniques. Watching the videos can be helpful but a bit frustrating because I had no one to practice what I had been learning. In the seminar setting there is a safe place to practice so I didn’t feel under any pressure to get things absolutely perfect first time. The seminar was set at such a frenetic pace we didn’t have time to think about what we were doing, it was fantastic. Sometime when you think too much you can doubt yourself but when the unconscious mind takes over magic starts to happen. I was totally amazed at the work that we were dong, even complete beginners who had no prior training sounded like they had been practicing for years. Another thing that struck me was that Igor was so generous with his time; before and after sessions and even in the breaks there were always people waiting to make comments and ask questions. I was already a big fan of Igor but nothing beats live training events and for my money he was one of the best trainers around anywhere today. You would definitely pay a whole lot more to train with any other of the Master hypnotists I think that the CHPH is one of the best value for money live trainings on the planet today.”

Granted, I may not have gotten to a place in the set where live demonstrations appear, but I find that while I appreciate the information given before the participants break into groups for practice, I miss the component of actually seeing the information applied. This is important to me because I tend to identify with the participants within the process. That seems to work it into my system to some degree and I can go back to it for support. It's just harder for me to apply and assess the information without the live context. So, more demonstrative, the better. Otherwise, it tends to remain more at a remove and unconfirmed.”

“I attended the Long Beach Seminar and I've studied a number of Igor's products. Here is my honest opinion. 1) Teaching skill. I buy a reasonable number of products online, so I've been exposed to a good number of people teaching a skill. One of the things that attracts me to Igor's products is the way he teaches. I'm guessing it might be that the law background has made a difference, but he teaches in a clear and concise way. What I mean by that is, it's easy to follow with what I'll call ""a train of thought that maintains understanding."" Many other people who teach (or train), either speed ahead too fast or belabor a point for way too long or jump around from idea to idea, such that you get lost (i.e. lose you ""understanding train of thought""). But Igor lays out complex and abstract ideas in a way that's easy to mentally digest. He is also very patient. 2) Knowledge What I find interesting about Igor's products is that, although he displays a great deal of knowledge on the subject of hypnosis (which should be good enough), he goes a bit beyond that. He just doesn't seem to care what ""establishments"" think, in such a way to blindly follow what they do or to faithfully follow their protocols without question. Instead it appears Igor is most concerned about what works and what doesn't work. And after all that's what it's all about. What good is to recite scripts that consistently result in failure? You really have a sense from Igor's body of work that he has not just learned then regurgitated information. Instead, he has absorbed knowledge, spent a good deal of time thinking it out until it makes sense, then designed products which come from his clear understanding -- and it shows. 3) Teaches principles I like that he teaches in such a way where you understand the principles being applied. That way, one can speak and practice from his/her own unique personality while still applying the functional principles. 4) Personal Intention I do believe Igor wants the best for all his students. I think this was exemplified by his statement about, when during the trainers training, the students started opening up to public speaking and how he felt so good because he could see those people begin to ""shine.""
