What makes an idea “mind bending”?
Sometimes it can happen as easily as this…
A subject is sharing their problem with you.
And to you, the solution seems so obvious. But the subject can’t see it. They’re stuck in a different “problem” reality.
And because your perception of the solution is so misaligned with your subject’s, your response seems so profoundly different that it ends up drastically shifting their entire perception.
It moves your subject’s problem so far outside of their original reference point that it “stretches” it in a way that it no longer fits them.
